It is hard to believe there is less than 4 weeks until Christmas. 1 World Charity Shops and our team are starting to get into the Christmas spirit. Dressing up the Shops and a few team members, as well as getting as many suitable items for Christmas on to the Shelves and on hangers for our valued customers.

An incredible year, an incredible effort by Australians to pull together and to be determined to get through the challenges in 2020. 1 World Charity Shops has powered through 2020, being affected by floods and bushfires while setting up the Campbelltown Shop and after opening the Shop for just 4 days, we closed the shop for a few weeks due to Coronavirus. Reopening with only a few staff on board, on a shortened trading week and Covid safe trading plans.
As soon as the borders opened and we could get a handful of staff and a couple of loyal volunteers together, a motivated team set up and opened the Underwood Shop in October(a truly amazing effort to set up a few weeks earlier than expected, especially with such a small team).

More exciting times ahead for 1 World Charity Shops with plans of opening another Shop in Brisbane in early 2021. There will be more new Shops in Brisbane and Sydney, so watch out for more information and for more opportunities at 1 World Charity Shops. We will continue to monitor our trading plans to ensure safety for our customers and our people.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of the wonderful people associated with 1 World Charity Shops a Safe and Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
To our customers, we thank you for your custom and we love seeing you in our shops.
To our local community support partners, keep up the great work and we look forward to continuing our support to you in the coming years.
To the Volunteer Vietnam team achieving an impressive amount of work in 2020 with additional challenges recently with severe floods and typhoons devastating vast areas in Vietnam.
The Nuns, Staff and volunteers at Nhan Ai Orphanage for their dedication to caring for, educating, empowering and improving the lives of in excess of 100 orphaned Children.
To the amazing group of people who work at 1 World Charity Shops and are a valued part of our family.
The staff who have worked extremely hard this year and have been resilient in continually getting back up and working through challenges.
To our loyal and dedicated Volunteers, who have come to work regularly and have given their time, their hard work and their hearts to help 1 World Charity Shops to achieve more.
Thanks to you all for being dedicated to continually making a difference to as many lives as possible and congratulations for achieving so much in 2020.

Take care and I look forward to seeing you in 2021.
